Everton host 10,000 fans for first match in brand new stadium - losing 2-1
Everton hosted their first match in their brand new stadium – losing 2-1.
As part of the first test event at their Bramley Moore ground, the English Premier League club opened their doors to 10,000 fans.
The select supporters watched a match between the under-18 teams of the Toffees and Wigan Athletic.
Wigan scored two goals before Everton scored a consolation penalty as the game finished 2-1 to the visitors.
