A paddle boarder spent 10 years trying to get a beautiful video floating on a ‘mirrored’ canyon.

Theo Negri made sure to visit Lake Powell, Arizona, USA, on May 10 before the crowds appeared at 8am to ensure it was peaceful.

Picturesque footage captured Theo serenely gliding between the golden yellow sandstone rock formation.

Due to the lack of the wind and no other visitors, the water stayed completely still reflecting its surroundings perfectly.

Theo said: “It was incredible. It was like every aligned perfectly. I was alone in this canyon, floating on a mirror.

“I paddle boarded for a little over an hour on my own before the crowd started to show up.

“I first visited this place around 10 years ago and wanted to go back since then.

“It's hard with logistics because I live far away and you can't rent a paddle board at 7am so you need to bring your own.

“You need to have cooperating weather as this place gets very windy and overcast.”
