A horror bee attack left six soldiers injured when their hives were disturbed in India.

The enraged colony charged at two Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials, a security guard, and three visitors at the main gate of the Haryana Civil Secretariat in Chandigarh on February 18 at 1 pm.

Footage shows the military personnel being chased by the insects, with the officers swinging their coats to protect themselves and shoo the bees away.

In another clip, a visitor can be seen being escorted to a white SUV by two authorities, who then dash out of the field and head toward the building.

Local media reported that the security guard sustained critical injuries and is now being treated in a nearby hospital.

In a separate incident, a 44-year-old man tragically lost his life from injuries following a bee swarm attack at the Karnala Bird Sanctuary in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Seven individuals were also reported to have sustained injuries in the incident.

Authorities said that efforts are being made to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in the affected areas and that precautions are being taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Only female bees have stingers, and they attack to defend their colony when threatened.

The venom of these insects contains enzymes that destroy red blood cells and skin mast cells. It also contains histamines, which increase blood flow and cause swelling and redness. Bee stings usually heal on their own without complications.
