Quick-thinking wife saves husband from barbell gym fail
This is the impressive moment a quick-thinking wife saves her bodybuilder husband from being choked by a barbell in a gym.
The couple, Lucas and Karla, had been working out together in Paraiba, Brazil, on February 19.
CCTV footage from the gym shows Lucas struggling with a bench press as the weight drops down onto his throat, and he is unable to lift it off.
As he begins to gag for air, Karla turns, sees him struggling, and rushes to wrench the barbell off his throat.
She tries to roll it down his chest, but when that does not work, she pushes the weights off one end, causing the barbell and her husband to fall to the ground as the clip ends.
