Los Angeles, United States - February 22, 2025 A shocking scene unfolded on the streets of Los Angeles as detectives from the Wilshire Division of the Los Angeles Police Department now seek the public’s help to track down a group of teenage bicyclists who brutally attacked a man in broad daylight. The incident occurred on February 22, 2025, around 5:00 p.m., near San Vicente Boulevard and Carrillo Drive, where officers responded to reports of an Assault with Deadly Weapon. Witnesses described a heated argument that erupted between the victim and a group of 20-30 bicyclists, believed to be between 16 and 18 years old. The confrontation escalated when a few of the suspects began striking and kicking the victim’s vehicle, prompting him to step out and face them. What followed was a violent melee. The situation spiraled out of control as more suspects piled in, overwhelming the victim with punches and kicks. Even after he was shoved and dragged to the ground, the relentless assault continued. Witnesses stepped forward to stop the chaos, but the suspects quickly fled, pedaling south on Carrillo Drive as a unified pack. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived to treat the victim, who suffered minor but visible injuries. He refused hospital transport despite the ordeal. Now, police are urging anyone with information to come forward as they work to bring those responsible to justice.
