Motorcycle rider crashes into parked car when wooden board blows into his face
A motorcycle rider crashed into a parked pickup truck when a piece of wood he was carrying blew into his face.
The food vendor was whizzing through a car park when the wooden sheet from his trailer drifted through the air, causing him to hit the white vehicle at the Four Corners Market in Pathum Thani, Thailand, on the evening of February 20.
Shocking CCTV footage shows the board obstructing the rider's vision. This left him distracted, causing him to lose control and veer off the motorway, smashing into the car's tailgate.
He was thrown forward but quickly stood up, while a concerned bystander rushed to help him fix his vehicle.
The vendor did not sustain any serious injuries.
Local media reported that the car owner went to the security guard's office to check what had happened after discovering the vehicle's rear end was damaged.
The rider said he would take responsibility for the damages and cover the cost of repairing the tailgate.
