Adorable mix-up: Chinese child believes plush toy is her dad in nighttime surprise
This is the amusing moment that a young girl woke up in the middle of the night and, in her drowsy state, confused her rabbit doll for her father.
On January 16, 2025, in Zhongshan, Guangdong, the video showed the girl abruptly waking up and reaching out in the dark, only to grab her plush rabbit instead of her dad.
Believing the toy to be her father transformed, she started crying intensely while clutching the doll tightly.
The real father, witnessing this scene via a baby monitor later, found it both touching and hilarious.
The incident concluded with the father comforting his daughter, reassuring her of his human form, much to the relief and eventual amusement of the little girl.
