Dramatic Video Shows Wooden Board Crashing into Car's Windshield on Verrazano Bridge

Script: A heart-pounding dashcam video has captured the moment a Brooklyn man narrowly avoided death when a wooden board, dislodged by high winds, smashed into his windshield on the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge last week.
David Deng and his family were on their way to a funeral on Wednesday, March 5th, when they passed a white pickup truck. The truck’s driver had apparently stopped in an opposite lane to secure a large wooden board in the rear of his vehicle. Suddenly, the projectile went airborne, flying straight into Deng’s windshield.
Miraculously, Deng and his family were unharmed, though the experience left them in complete shock.
