At around 7 PM on March 21, a terrifying incident unfolded at an intersection in Nanning, Guangxi. A 14-year-old boy, on his way home from school, was suddenly attacked by a swarm of bees, leaving him in grave danger. Fortunately, several courageous passersby sprang into action, using clothing and a fire extinguisher to drive away the bees and rescue the boy.

According to eyewitnesses, the boy was walking along the roadside when the bees appeared out of nowhere and quickly surrounded him. Stung multiple times on his head and face, he collapsed in pain, rolling on the ground in an attempt to escape the swarm but was unable to break free.

In this critical moment, three food delivery riders, a middle-aged man, and a brave young woman stepped forward to help. One of the riders, Huang Bin, was the first to take off his jacket and wave it to fend off the bees. Others quickly joined in, using their clothes to drive away the swarm. Meanwhile, the young woman rushed into a nearby store to borrow a fire extinguisher and handed it to Huang Bin.

Huang Bin immediately sprayed the extinguisher at the bees while shouting, "Quick, get him out of here!" With their combined efforts, two rescuers managed to lift the boy and carry him to safety. The middle-aged man then transported the injured boy to a nearby hospital on his electric scooter.

Doctors later confirmed that the boy had sustained multiple stings, mainly on his head and face. However, thanks to the swift response, his condition was stabilised, and he is now receiving further treatment.

Speaking after the incident, Huang Bin revealed that he had also been stung twice but did not hesitate to act. "Seeing the boy in pain, I didn't have time to think about my own safety—I just wanted to save him as quickly as possible," he said.

Local fire authorities are now investigating the incident to locate the source of the bee swarm and implement measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
