Housewife chases away snake slithering through her home
A housewife bravely chased away a snake that had slithered into her home.
Orawan Phinkieo, 45, used a baby toy as a makeshift pole to drive the Oriental Rat Snake out of her living room in Phichit Province, Thailand, March 26 morning.
Footage shows the serpent moving across the floor near the entrance.
Upon seeing this, the homeowner yelled at the intruder while tapping the rod on the ground to create noise.
Startled, the snake scurried out through the doorway. She then quickly shut the entryway behind it to prevent the reptile from coming back.
She said: 'I'm not that afraid of the snake because we know it's harmless. It probably got lost and maybe wanted to be inside because it was so hot.'
The Oriental Rat Snake is a non-venomous reptile that can grow up to 6.6 ft (2 m) in length.
