Mother instinctively protects baby when she falls from sofa
This is the dramatic moment a mother instinctively shielded her baby as she fell from a sofa.
The woman was cradling her toddler while trying to settle him on the brown couch at their home in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand.
CCTV footage shows the mum losing her balance as she leaned onto the sofa, causing her to flip backwards while still holding the child on September 17.
She fell to the floor, hitting her head and neck, but managed to keep the baby tightly in her arms throughout the fall.
Moments later, her husband rushed over and quickly took the child, who was completely unharmed.
The woman later said she suffered only minor pain in her head and back following the incident.
