The advisory, which is expected to last from 1 p.m. Tuesday until 2 a.m. PDT Wednesday, warns residents of coastal and valley areas in Los Angeles, Ventura, and southern Santa Barbara counties of west to northwest winds ranging from 15 to 30 mph, with gusts reaching 35 to 45 mph. Drivers, particularly those in motor homes and large trucks, should be aware that these winds could create difficult driving conditions. Secured outdoor objects are at risk of being blown around, and there is a possibility of tree limbs falling and power outages occurring. Additionally, the National Weather Service indicates that winds will increase again on Wednesday afternoon and evening, with more wind advisories likely to be issued.
