Los Angeles, United States - January 22, 2026 01/21/2026 11:00 pm GMT-0800 EXPOSITION PARK, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department's Newton Division officers initiated a pursuit of a black Ford SUV. The suspect drove to the area of Browning Boulevard and St. Andrews Place, where he exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The suspect jumped into several yards and, at one point, climbed onto a roof. After coming off the roof, he jumped through a window of a residence on Leighton Street, west of St. Andrews. Officers established a perimeter around the location and reported that the suspect was seen barricading the window he had entered. Eventually, the suspect surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident. Officers spoke with the homeowner, who was inside at the time. He expressed discomfort regarding the incident, stating, "Now I have to move."
