US, Los Angeles: Vernon Pedestrian Struck And Killed By Truck
Los Angeles, United States - April 04, 2025 04/04/2025 01:37 am (GMT-0700) VERNON, Calif. – Around 1:37 a.m. Friday, the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene near East Vernon Avenue and South Alameda Street in Vernon, where a pedestrian had been struck by a truck. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. A man was observed undergoing a field sobriety test, though it is unclear whether he was taken into custody. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and it appears that the truck may have struck a building following the initial crash.
