US, Los Angeles: Van Nuys Homeless Man Shot
Los Angeles, United States - March 07, 2025 03/07/2025 10:00 pm (GMT-0800) VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A 35-year-old homeless man was shot in Van Nuys on Friday night in an alley behind the Mid Valley YMCA, located in the 6900 block of Lennox Avenue. Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the scene and discovered the man suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. LAPD officers initially ensured the area was secure before clearing the scene for Los Angeles Fire Department personnel. Paramedics treated the man at the location and subsequently transported him in an unknown condition to a nearby hospital. The incident is currently under investigation, and LAPD detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Authorities have not released further details about potential suspects or a motive.
