US, Los Angeles: Panorama City Vacant Structure Fire
Los Angeles, United States - June 19, 2025 06/19/2025 03:49 am GMT-0700 PANORAMA CITY, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at an abandoned Smart & Final commercial building in the Van Nuys and Arminta Street intersection. Fire crews arrived at the scene to find an active fire. Upon entering the location, they discovered the building was in the process of being demolished. Due to the condition of the structure, crews shifted to a defensive mode to fight the flames. No injuries were reported. Firefighters remained on the scene, working to extinguish hot spots. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
