Runaway cow calmly waits at traffic lights before crossing road
A cow wandered out of the fields and amused drivers as it appeared to wait at traffic lights before crossing a field.
The bovine escaped from its farm and reached an intersection where it seemingly followed vehicle rules in Batangas, the Philippines.
Footage shows the animal stopped at the intersection as motorists in the opposite lane passed by.
The cattle briefly paused and then moved along before an officer tried to catch them on April 12.
Driver Frances Angel Fontecha said: 'I was on my way to school to attend my Saturday class.
'During the red light, I decided to film myself because I felt pretty that day.
'As I looked over to my left, I saw a cow standing in traffic and immediately laughed. The officer tried to shoo the cow and it ended up running away.'
The cow was later guided away from traffic, and its owner came to pick it up.
In the Philippines, many farms are located alongside roads, especially in rural areas. This setup can sometimes lead to animals wandering on the roads, posing risks for animals and motorists.
