As a helicopter prepared to leave with VIPs, including YouTuber Oga Obinna, local man Absalom Komando, a 30-year-old mechanic, sprinted forward and grabbed the landing gear just as it lifted off.

For a few tense minutes, Komando dangled beneath the chopper. The pilot, alerted by passengers, carefully descended into a nearby maize farm, allowing Komando to drop safely. Villagers erupted in cheers, carrying him on their shoulders as a hero. Videos of the stunt went viral, sparking both awe and criticism online.
