Exclusive- Deer trapped in spillway makes daring 12-foot leap to freedom
This deer got in the spillway not sure how. She probably fell in and couldn’t get out. I usually have a couple fall in every year. I saw her on Thursday laying down. I thought she had a broken leg. But when I got home, she was standing and knew I had to get out. She didn't have any water source and was scared since there is a road above her. That spillway is about a 1/4 mile long. I just needed her to get to the other end she couldn't see it. It took 2 tries. That's both of us going back and forth for a 1/2 mile before she made up her mind to take a 12 foot leap to get out of the end.
