This is the moment three hunky firemen walked into a romance novel Q&A with 400 romcom-loving women in attendance.

Julianne San Antonio, 30, attended a talk by romance novelist Abby Jimenez about her new book on Monday (April 14),

The presentation and Q&A, held in Toronto, Canada, was to celebrate the release of Jimenez's most recent novel just two weeks prior.

But the sessions was interrupted when firefighters unknowingly walked into the room - full of impassioned women.

During the talk, the audience could hear an ongoing beeping, which was soon identified as a fire alarm.

Thinking that was the end of it, the 400 women were pleasantly surprised when three firemen showed up outside the building.

Julianne, a marketing strategist based in Toronto, Canada, said: "It was the most ironic, hilarious situation."

"Here is a massive group of romance-loving, day-dreaming women and three gorgeous firemen walked in."

"It's like a joke you wouldn't believe."

The firefighters, who were automatically called when the alarm went off, were checking the outside of the building when the women saw their truck's lights.

The author interviewing Abby Jimenez, Hannah Bonam-Young, then called them inside and they entered to a momentous round of applause and laughter.

A funny video shows the Hannah explaining to the three men what is happening and even asking if any of them is single.

Julianne said: "It was very funny to see them blush as they realised what they had just walked in to!"

"When Hannah asked if they were single, I think one of them said no and the others politely ignored the question."

"Despite the attention, it was all taken in jest."
