Airmen from the U.S. Air National Guard’s 158th Fighter Wing were welcomed home with open arms in South Burlington, Vermont, after completing a successful overseas deployment. These dedicated servicemembers were stationed in Okinawa, Japan, where they provided critical support for the F-35A Lightning II aircraft, representing the strength and skill of the Vermont Air National Guard on a global stage.

Families, friends, and fellow Airmen gathered to greet the returning heroes, marking the end of their mission with smiles, hugs, and a renewed sense of pride. The deployment was a part of the United States' ongoing commitment to regional stability and international cooperation in the Indo-Pacific, where the advanced capabilities of the F-35A continue to play a vital role.

As they reintegrate back into their Vermont community, the Airmen carry with them not only memories of service and camaraderie but also the appreciation of a grateful nation. Their dedication exemplifies the Air National Guard’s readiness to support global operations whenever and wherever they are needed.
