Firefighters Recover Fallen American Flag After Weekend Storm
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — Brevard County Fire Rescue Station 41 B-shift is being praised for their respectful act after a strong storm knocked over a flagpole at a local firefighter’s home over the weekend.
Lt. Don Schrier’s Ring camera captured the moment when Station 41 firefighters noticed the American flag in his yard and stopped to recover it with care. The crew picked up the flag and ensured the property was treated with respect.
“Thank you for the respect of the American flag and the care of my property,” Lt. Schrier said. The incident, though small, highlighted the dedication and service of local first responders beyond emergency calls.
Brevard County Fire Rescue shared the footage and commended Station 41 B-shift for their continued commitment to the community.
