PEOPLE CARRYING DEAD BODY TO AMBULANCE GAZA, PALESTINE - APRIL 30, 2025: Casualties were reported on Wednesday, April 30, in the latest Israeli army attack on Shuja'iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza. The bodies of the victims were brought to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital. At least 35 more Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza in the last 24 hours, pushing up the death toll from Israel’s genocidal war since October 2023 to 52,400, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday. A ministry statement said that 109 more injured people were also transferred to hospitals, taking the number of injuries to 118,014 in the Israeli onslaught. “Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added. The Israeli army resumed its deadly offensive on the Gaza Strip on March 18 and has since killed over 2,300 people and injured nearly 6,000 others despite a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January.
