On April 30, severe windstorms suddenly hit Yuncheng, Shanxi. A girl riding a bicycle had to stop when sand blown by the strong wind got into her eyes. Just a second later, she and her friend riding on the back narrowly avoided being struck by a falling water heater that had been blown off a building.

Nearby shopkeepers, witnessing the incident, immediately invited the two girls into their store to take shelter. According to the shop owner, the girls sustained only minor injuries — just a few cuts from broken glass, which were treated with iodine. Once the wind subsided, the girls left.

Fortunately, the girl stopped just in time — narrowly escaping what could have been a fatal accident.
