Phoenix, United States - May 06, 2025 05/06/2025 12:31 am GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – Mesa police officers and the fire department were dispatched to a traffic collision early Tuesday morning on Mesa Drive just south of Southern Avenue. Initial reports indicated that someone was trapped and required to be extricated. According to preliminary information gathered at the scene, a southbound vehicle struck several parked cars. The victim was reportedly ejected from their vehicle before becoming trapped underneath a white passenger car. Firefighters extricated the victim before pronouncing them deceased at the scene. Mesa police officers closed all southbound traffic on Mesa Drive as they investigated the collision.
