Phoenix, United States - September 28, 2025 09/27/2025 10:05 pm GMT-0700 GILBERT, Ariz. – Firefighters from the cities of Gilbert, Chandler, and Mesa responded to Williams Field Road just east of Gilbert Road to a reported single-vehicle traffic collision late Saturday night. Firefighters arrived and located a white Honda passenger car that had collided with a tree in the median at a high rate of speed. At least one person was reportedly trapped and required to be extricated from the vehicle by firefighters. According to preliminary information gathered at the scene, five people sustained injuries in the collision, two of whom were described as serious. Police closed Williams Field Road between Gilbert Road and Mustang Drive while investigating the collision.
