Phoenix, United States - September 10, 2025 09/09/2025 11:43 pm GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – Mesa police and Mesa Fire Department personnel responded to the intersection of Broadway Road and South Sirrine for reports of a single-vehicle traffic collision late Tuesday night. Officers arrived and located a Chevy SUV that had collided through a brick wall before hitting a second wall at the Mesa Public School bus depot. According to preliminary information, as firefighters were responding to the scene, they were informed that at least one person was trapped and required to be extricated from the vehicle. Firefighters arrived and located a single occupant in the vehicle, suffering from serious injuries. Firefighters worked to extricate the victim from the vehicle; however, they did not transport the victim to the hospital. Broadway Road was closed between South Lewis and Pasadena as police investigate the collision.
