Worker retrieves phone dropped in river using long claw grabber pole
A worker retrieved a phone dropped in a river using a long claw grabber pole.
A holidaymaker's iPhone 15 Pro Max slipped from her hands and fell into the water at the Summer Palace in Beijing, China.
The tourist quickly called for help, and a staff member responded to assist in recovering the device.
Footage shows the employee using the grabber tool equipped with a built-in camera, submerging it into the water on May 3.
After locating the phone, the worker triggered the device, catching the gadget with the tool before pulling it out and handing it back to the relieved owner.
The vacationer was seen shaking the undamaged phone to remove any excess water.
Though the iPhone 15 Pro Max is not fully waterproof, it can still withstand submersion up to 6 meters for 30 minutes.
