This is the amusing moment a group of free-roaming Bengal cats climbed a house wall in China.

Footage shows nine agile felines in a backyard in Guangdong on May 1.

They can be seen scaling the brick walls, while one climbed a nearby tree and perched on a branch.

The leopard-like cats clung to the surface, waiting eagerly for the homeowner to toss them food.

One by one, they descended as the man scattered snacks.

The filmer said the Bengal cats are domesticated and legally kept as pets in the country.

He added: 'Though they look wild, they are friendly, affectionate, and show little to no aggression after generations of breeding.'

Bengal cats are a hybrid breed developed by crossing domestic cats with the Asian leopard cat. They are known for their distinctive spotted or marbled coat, which gives them a wild, exotic appearance.

These felines are highly energetic and athletic, often capable of jumping up to three times their height. Their strong hind legs and muscular build make them excellent climbers.
