A man named Li, traveling with his family, stopped his car in the emergency lane so his child could relieve themselves. With heavy traffic due to the May Day holiday, Li’s stop forced cars in the right lane to swerve left to avoid his vehicle. As a large truck passed by, a strong gust of wind opened the car door, scraping it against the truck. By sheer luck, neither Li nor the child was hit. However, when the police arrived, they found Li standing in the roadway, casually inspecting the damage. Despite the immediate danger, he refused to move until police officers ordered him to step aside. Shocked by his recklessness, the officers remarked, "Oh my God! I really can’t believe you." Li was later held fully responsible for the incident, as his actions violated traffic laws by stopping in the emergency lane and opening the car door without checking for oncoming vehicles.
