Phoenix, United States - May 19, 2025 05/19/2025 01:35 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz.– Troopers and the Phoenix Fire Department responded early Monday morning to the eastbound I-10 near the start of the I-17 South transition ramp, to reports of a traffic collision. Troopers arrived and located a three-vehicle traffic collision involving two passenger cars and a box truck. Troopers and ADOT began diverting all eastbound traffic from the I-10 onto the northbound I-17 transition ramp. According to preliminary information gathered at the scene, firefighters had to extricate one person from their vehicle. At least two people were rushed to the hospital by firefighters with life-threatening injuries. The closure is expected to last several hours as troopers conduct their investigation.
