A vicious pet cat bit a groomer in the face while she was trying to give him a trim.

Footage shows the white moggy Shiro wearing a cute scarf, but he appeared not to be in the mood as he lashed out at the cat hotel employee Monruedee Ounyingchareon.

The feline stared at Monruedee before sinking his teeth into her cheek.

Shiro hissed but calmed down when Monruedee held its head down before checking her injury in Nonthaburi, Thailand.

Monruedee said: Shiro always comes to our pet hotel, but that time he was only recently neutered.

'He might be suspicious of me, or was still afraid, so he was aggressive.'

Monruedee said she washed her wound with soap and water before cleaning it after being bitten on May 23.

She was not seriously hurt and had herself checked at the hospital.
