This is the moment a magnitude 5.8 earthquake rattled a shop in Turkey.

CCTV footage shows shelves shaking as the tremors rocked the store in Mugla in the early hours of the morning on June 3.

The United States Geological Survey said the magnitude 5.8 quake struck five kilometres south of Icmeler at 23:17 UTC on Tuesday. It was 74 kilometres deep.

Turkey lies on top of major fault lines, making earthquakes frequent.
