A magnitude 5.8 earthquake that struck Turkey shook a hotel in neighbouring Greece.

Footage shows the quake shaking CCTV cameras at the five-star Rodos Palladium hotel on Rhodes Island, in the early hours of the morning on June 3.

The United States Geological Survey said the magnitude 5.8 quake struck five kilometres south of Icmeler at 23:17 UTC on Tuesday. It was 74 kilometres deep.

Turkey lies on top of major fault lines, making earthquakes frequent.
