US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Flames Erupt Teen Injured While Saving Dog
Bakersfield, United States - June 03, 2025 06/02/2025 10:30 pm GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield and Kern County Fire Departments responded to the 200 block of Donna Avenue around 10:30 p.m. for multiple reports of a house on fire. Crews arrived and found a structure and palm trees engulfed in flames. Witnesses at the scene say a teen and two men helped rescue a dog who was tied in the yard near the flames. That same child is believed to have been transported with possible smoke inhalation, but no official confirmation was given. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and arson investigators were called to the scene.
