This is the hilarious moment a woman's lips swelled after a bee sting, giving her a Katie Price-style ‘trout pout'.

Footage shows the farmer with an enlarged upper lip following the sting, which triggered an allergic reaction in Chumphon, southern Thailand, on June 8.

Despite the swelling, she laughed at her appearance with a friend and later joked while riding in a car to the hospital that she had just received '1,700 CCs of lip filler.'

She also quipped that the doctor who performed the procedure ran a clinic in a palm plantation and was 'accepting unlimited clients'.

She was later treated with an injection, and the swelling gradually subsided.

Bee stings cause swelling as the insect injects venom into the skin, triggering the body's immune response. This leads to inflammation and, in allergic individuals, exaggerated swelling and discomfort.

Katie Price, 47, a British media personality and former glamour model, became known in the 2000s for her heavily enhanced lips, popularly dubbed a 'trout pout', which sparked widespread trends and debate over cosmetic procedures like lip fillers and Botox.
