Phoenix, United States - June 23, 2025 06/23/2025 03:39 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police and fire department crews responded to reports of a shooting near the 5800 block of South 12th Lane at approximately 3:39 a.m. According to the Phoenix police lieutenant at the scene, two females were shot after an argument amongst family members escalated to gunfire. Both gunshot victims were transported to a local trauma center. The shooting suspect is believed to be known to the family. It was not specified if the shooter is in custody or outstanding. A large crime scene has been established outside the residence where the shooting occurred. Several shell casings were located in the street near the shooting scene. Detectives were notified and responded to the scene to assist with the ongoing investigation.
