Car suddenly bursts into flames after driving over puddle in China
On June 25 in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, a Honda Fit sedan caught fire after driving over a puddle. The car jolted upon impact, and flames suddenly erupted from the undercarriage. The driver immediately abandoned the vehicle to escape.
Moments later, the entire car was engulfed in flames and eventually burned down to a shell.
The driver suspects that the impact may have damaged the fuel tank or fuel lines under the chassis, causing a leak that led to the fire.
The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
