On January 22, 2026, on a road in Yubei District, Chongqing, a metal manhole cover in the middle of the road appeared to be 'dancing', constantly shaking up and down and making noise, as if it were 'raving'.

A citizen who witnessed the scene said that he felt very magical after seeing it, and confirmed that there was no one under the manhole cover when he approached it.

At the same time, he was also worried about potential safety hazards, guessing that it might be caused by gas (such as biogas) rising in the pipeline, which may have an explosion risk.
