Phoenix, United States - June 29, 2025 06/29/2025 01:30 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police and fire department crews responded to reports of a vehicle versus bicyclist collision at the intersection of 71st Avenue and Osborn Road around 1:30 a.m. According to Phoenix police officers at the scene, a vehicle struck an unidentified pedestrian who was crossing the intersection on a bicycle. The vehicle fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers and firefighters. The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. A hard closure was established for 71st Avenue, spanning approximately one block to the north and south of Osborn Road. A description of the hit-and-run vehicle has not been released.
