While driving along a road at 60mph, I approached the top of a blind hill, heading downhill. At the same time, a vehicle in the opposite lane attempted to overtake a slow-moving tractor. As the vehicle reached the top of the hill, it was heading directly into my lane, forcing me to make an emergency stop to avoid a head-on collision. The situation was incredibly dangerous, and had I not reacted quickly, the outcome could have been catastrophic. This footage clearly shows the risky manoeuvre and the critical moment of avoiding a crash. The driver then turned left into a junction, so they saved themselves about 10 seconds.
