This is the shocking moment a motorist crashes while avoiding a biker speeding the wrong way down the road.

Dashcam footage shows a car driving behind another vehicle in Yibin, Sichuan Province, China, around 5:30 pm on January 30.

The car overtakes the one filming, then suddenly swerves to the right to avoid a yob biker.

It narrowly avoids hitting the biker, with the motorist, reportedly named Liu, then steering to the left to correct their course and avoid crashing into a black car in the right lane.

However, this causes the white car to begin spinning out, hitting the roadside barrier on the left side of the road. It then shoots across the road and hits the crash barrier on the right side.

The car filming the scene with its dashcam then brakes sharply, and its driver steers to the left into the left lane to avoid a collision.

Police later stated the biker, surnamed Li, had forced his way through a toll station onto the carriageway despite attempts by toll staff to stop him.

He has been apprehended by authorities, who are investigating the incident.
