This is the shocking moment a feisty pet cat gave a dog an unexpected punch on the nose.

Storm, the orange feline, was caught in the act attacking Goldie, the brown Aspin pooch, in a living room in Bulacan, the Philippines.

Footage captured by Dianna Marie Estrope shows the one-year-old moggie leaping onto a wooden sofa on April 17.

It then suddenly pawed the unsuspecting canine, aged three, who was grooming itself on the floor.

The behaviour stunned their pet owners nearby, and Dianna and her brother can be heard exclaiming in surprise.

Dianna said: 'I was trying to film our pets at that time, and I never expected that my cat would smack the dog suddenly.

'It was not the first time she did that, and until now she still does it, even to us. She's cute but mean.'
