This is the bizarre moment a baby turtle was seen roaming under the seats during a flight to Taiwan.

Ethan Ho and his girlfriend were aboard a Hong Kong Airlines flight when they spotted the tiny juvenile reptile on the cabin floor mid-flight.

Footage shows the creature leaning against Ethan's white shoe, standing on its hind legs as it explores the area beneath the seats on the Airbus A320.

Concerned that the turtle might be stepped on, Ethan alerted a flight attendant and handed the animal over to the crew.

Ethan recalled that his partner was asleep when the turtle first landed on her feet.

He said: 'We initially thought it was a mouse, but when we looked closer, we were shocked to find it was a turtle.'
