Israeli attack in the Al-Zarqa area in Al-Tuffah neighborhood of east Gaza City, claimed the lives of four Palestinians and left others wounded, according to local sources. Around the same time, a second airstrike targeted another home in the Zeitoun neighborhood in the eastern part of the city, where more injuries were reported. The wounded from both attacks were taken to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital for treatment. The strikes are part of the ongoing Israeli military operations in Gaza, which continue to cause civilian casualties and damage to residential areas. Despite international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli army has pursued a genocidal war on Gaza, killing more than 57,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, since October 2023. The relentless bombardment has destroyed the enclave, and led to food shortages and spread of disease. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave. Reporting by Hamza Z. H. Qraiqea // Writing by Mustafa Tuncer
