US, Phoenix: Peoria Tether Trail House Fire

Phoenix, United States - July 05, 2025 07/04/2025 10:36 pm GMT-0700 PEORIA, Ariz. – On Fourth of July night, just after 10:30 p.m., the Peoria Fire Department responded to reports of a house fire near the 6900 block of West Tether Trail. When fire crews arrived on the scene, they found a two-story house with smoke showing. The call was balanced to a working fire, bringing firefighters from Glendale and Peoria. Fire crews made an interior attack while the ladder crew worked on ventilation. While fire crews were involved in an interior attack, a part of the second floor collapsed. No injuries were reported. Firefighters then had to fight the fire from the second-floor window. No reported injuries at the time to residents or fire personnel. The cause of the fire is currently unknown. It’s also unknown how many people were displaced.
