US, Phoenix: Peoria Vehicle Crashes Into Home Causes Large Police Presence
Phoenix, United States - August 14, 2025 08/13/2025 06:00 pm GMT-0700 PEORIA, Ariz. – At approximately 6 p.m., a significant police presence was reported in a Peoria neighborhood near 87th Lane and Columbine Drive following a vehicle crash into the side of a house. Neighbors indicated that the incident prompted a significant law enforcement response, although details regarding the events leading up to the crash remain unclear. Glendale and Peoria police established a perimeter in the area as they conducted their investigation. Officers were observed with a K-9 unit walking along 87th Avenue. The Glendale Police Department also dispatched its forensic team to process the scene and collect fingerprints from the vehicle involved. Glendale police are leading the investigation into the crash.
