A Not-So-Timely Rescue
As a man skied down the slope, he was supposed to glide across the pond at the bottom using his momentum. However, due to insufficient speed, he lost momentum halfway and fell into the water. While he struggled in the water, the nearby lifeguards casually extended a rescue pole. It wasn’t until he had struggled for a while that someone realized he couldn’t grab the pole and finally jumped in to pull him out.
