This is the shocking moment a player was tossed onto the ground while trying a giant Squid Game jump rope replica.

Seven holidaymakers were jumping together when one of them lost her footing and was tripped by the spinning rope on its second rotation in Bangkok, Thailand.

Footage captured by Suphannapa Viseshakul shows the woman in a pink shirt hopping ahead of the others, causing her to stumble on July 8.

She fell backwards off the platform and rolled onto the ground.

A guard dressed in a red boiler suit sprinted over to stop the rope from swinging and hitting her again.

The eliminated participant was then escorted out of the game, giggling at the mishap. She picked up her bag and shoes from the platform before walking away.

Suphannapa said: 'The woman was not injured from what happened, and the guards made sure she was okay afterwards.'

Visitors can play the real-life version of the series' iconic skipping rope game, with the giant dolls swinging the rope, from June 28 to July 6.

There have been dozens of scrapes and falls. However, unlike the Netflix series, none of the participants plunge to their deaths to have their organs harvested.

Squid Game Season 3 premiered globally on Netflix on June 27. The final season continues the intense storyline, with protagonist Seong Gi-hun returning to the deadly games after the loss of his friend Jung-bae.

The South Korean Netflix series, originally released in 2021, depicts a deadly competition where contestants play children's games for a large cash prize.

Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk drew inspiration from his own economic struggles, as well as issues of class disparity and capitalism in South Korea.

The show became Netflix's most-watched series and topped charts in 94 countries.
