Bungling worker plays porn audio through sports stadium speakers in Indonesia
A bungling worker caused alarm in Indonesia by playing pornographic audio through the loudspeakers of a sports venue.
Bizarre footage shows a public speaker at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta broadcasting the passionate moans of a woman, shocking visitors on July 12.
The Gelora Bung Karno Complex Management Centre apologised for the embarrassing incident and blamed staff negligence.
Authorities said: 'The results of an internal evaluation concluded that this incident stemmed from the negligence of staff who played a copyright-free playlist without conducting a thorough check.'
The management stated they had issued a stern warning to the responsible officer and were reviewing the audio playlist used for public announcements.
The audio playback system has also been tightened, with access restricted to verified personnel only.
Officials added: 'We regret this incident and are committed to improving the quality of supervision and service across the board.'
Indonesia has strict laws prohibiting the production, distribution, and possession of pornographic materials.
